Updates Regarding COVID-19
Per Governor DeWine’s order on Monday, March 30th, Archbold Schools will continue to operate utilizing the alternative education model through Friday, May 1st.
All Archbold Area Schools buildings and offices will be closed to non-essential employees from 3:00 pm on Friday, March 13th through Friday, April, 10th.
*Phone lines will not be monitored during this time. All communications and announcements will come through the district website or the notification systems (One Call/FinalForms/Social Media).

EDUCATION, SCHOOL SUPPLIES & TECHNOLOGY
Archbold Area Schools is currently planning to provide education through alternative means. The first assignments will be assigned on Monday, March 30th.

The district began distribution of school supplies and technology devices on Wednesday, March 25th. If you have not yet received your child’s supplies or device, please email your respective building principal or secretary.
If your home does not have access to the Internet, Spectrum is offering free Internet access to qualifying homes with students for a period of 60 days. For more information or to enroll, please visit https://www.spectrum.com or call 1-844-579-3743.
Our food service staff will continue to provide meals to families in need during the extended closure. The tentative schedule is as follows:
Beginning the week of March 30th, 2020:
Monday Delivery/Pick up will include Monday lunch through Thursday breakfast.
Thursday Delivery/Pick up will include Thursday lunch through Monday breakfast.
**Delivery will be between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
**Pick-up will be between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The pick-up location for meals will be on the North side of Archbold High School near the service entrance.

For those interested in supporting families in need, please consider donating to the Bluestreak Bag program. This will supplement the meals being provided by the school district. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
As required by OHSAA, there will be a MANDATORY no-contact period in effect for all school-sponsored sports March 17 - May 1, 2020. Additionally, there will be a mandatory shut down of facilities used for the purpose of conducting athletic activities from March 17 - May 1, 2020.
All school activities and events are canceled/postponed through May 1, 2020.
Archbold Community Comprehensive Plan
Your help is needed!
Archbold Community officials have started the process to update the Archbold community’s comprehensive plan. The purpose of the comprehensive plan is to create a shared vision for the community to preserve and build on its heritage while giving direction for desirable growth and development.

Make plans to also attend the Community Forum coming up March 30, 6:30 pm, in the Archbold High School cafeteria.
In light of recent action from the State of Ohio aimed to limit the spread of COVID19, all Northwest Ohio Early Childhood Developmental Screenings have been postponed through the end of March.
For those who have a scheduled appointment in March, you are asked to monitor the Northwest Ohio Early Childhood Development Screening Facebook page and/or email and/or phone calls from area code 567 for further information as it becomes available.
Scheduling for all future screenings is on-hold for those who do not yet have an appointment.
