The cafeteria menu for today is:  French toast sticks, mango wango juice, and strawberries

Christmas Cheer

Archbold Elementary will be doing a canned food drive for Christmas Cheer the week of November 29 – December 3.  Thank you in advance for your generous donations to this great cause!

Christmas at the Cabin:  Visit Santa and his workshop as the Fulton County Fairgrounds is transformed into the North Pole on Friday, December 10 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, December 11 from 10 am to 2 pm.  All this fun is for $10 per family!

Scholastic Virtual Book Fair:  Our Book Fair will be held online November 8 – 21 through Scholastic. The link is www.archbold.k12.oh.us

 

Report cards will be sent home on Thursday, November 18.

 

There will be NO SCHOOL on November 23 – 26 due to parent teacher conferences and Thanksgiving vacation.

 

Youth Wrestling:  Boys in grades 2 – 6 will practice on Monday and Thursday from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  Boys in kindergarten and 1st grade will practice on Tuesday from 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm.  Girls in grades K – 6 will practice Tuesday from 7:15 pm – 8:00 pm.  Registration sheets can be obtained by emailing Coach Becher at bbecher@archboldschools.org or simply get one when you drop your child off at their first practice.  All practices are in the annex behind the high school.  Please enter the annex through the west doors.

 

Sharing the Warmth:  Free coats for men, women and children at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church (203 S. Defiance St.) on Saturday, November 20th from 9:00 am

to 12:00 pm.  To qualify you must live in Archbold or your children attend Archbold Schools.  See you there!

 

To celebrate the holiday season all Fulton County Police and Fire/EMS Departments will be bringing back the seasonal program, Christmas for Kids in Fulton County. This program allows first responders a chance to build a positive relationship with children in our communities and spend one-on-one time with those whose families are having financial issues.

 

In order to facilitate this program, they are asking for donations to help spread cheer and help children look forward to the upcoming holiday season. If you feel this program may be able to help you with gifts and a resident of Fulton County, applications are available to submit for consideration.
